4 Reasons Why You’ll Love Going to Squash Camp
No matter what the reasons are as to why you’d like to attend a summer squash camp this year, there is normally one goal most young athletes share: to improve on the court!
That’s the foundation of the International Squash Academy. This organization was formed with one specific purpose in mind: helping squash players of all ages and abilities to get better on the court, while also achieving elite levels of competitiveness.
As mentioned above, it doesn’t matter what level of play you’re currently at – there’s something available for everyone. This includes open-attendance instructional camps to Elite Camps that are invitation-only, along with College Showcases. While there are many different types to choose from, they are built with the same ideas in mind and players reap similar benefits.
Here are four reasons why you’ll love going to an ISA squash camp this summer.
All ages and skill levels are welcome to join us. Since every squash player is different from the next, we know that big, group drills only helping a small portion of players is not an effective way to help campers reach their full potential.
That’s why we make an effort to maintain small camper-to-coach ratios. This allows us to provide more one-on-one instruction than our competition. The personal touch goes beyond camp, as well. Everyone leaves with a personal workbook as a reference for what they were working on. It also helps to encourage them to continue developing their on-court skills.
Exposure to the Game’s Top Coaches
The best way to improve as a squash player is to get instruction from the most respected players and coaches in the game today! We pull from some of the top college coaches from around the country who are dedicated to helping you take your game to the next level.

Comprehensive Camp Curriculum
Our combination of skill lessons, quick squash drills and individual lessons are specifically designed so each player we instruct can improve their overall game, regardless of their ability level upon walking into camp. Squash technique, tactical strategy and conditioning that pertain to the game today are what instructors focus on most with campers.
Positive Coaching Alliance
We’re proud that every squash camp director that works with us is Double-Goal Certified by the Positive Coaching Alliance. This promotes a well-rounded experience for those in attendance, as we don’t just focus on what happens on the court. The PCA is a national non-profit organization dedicated toward developing better athletes and better people.
They do this by being committed to providing athletes a positive, character-building experience.
There are a ton more reasons why you’ll love spending a week with us at squash camp during the summer, but we thought these were the best ones of the bunch. We’re looking forward to seeing you this summer and helping you reach your personal goals!
